Plant biotechnology is today a major strategic lever to address global challenges such as food security, climate change adaptation, and the transition to sustainable agriculture.
This national seminar aims to bring together researchers, academic staff, PhD students, and professionals to encourage scientific exchange, promote research findings, and support innovations in the field of biological resources.
We are pleased to announce the
«1st National Seminar on Biotechnology, Valorization of Biological Resources, and Innovation (SBVRBI’25) », which will be held at M’Hamed Bougara University of Boumerdès on October 22, 2025.
Three major thematic areas will be addressed, reflecting the richness and relevance of current research in biotechnological valorization. These themes are at the heart of today’s scientific concerns and are generating growing interest within the research community.
Topics:
This seminar will focus on the following topics
- Topic 1: Biotechnology and valorization of natural substances
- Topic 2: Microbial biotechnology: valorization of microflora
- Topic 3: Conservation of bees and promotion of beekeeping products

- Call for communication: May 18, 2025
- Abstract Deadline submissions: September 10, 2025
- Notification of acceptance: September 20, 2025
- Sending of the final program: October 10, 2025

Instructions for Authors:
- Participants are invited to submit an abstract not exceeding 250 words, written according to the following guidelines:
- Title: Times New Roman, size 14, bold, single-spaced.
- Abstract Text: imes New Roman, size 12, single-spaced. It must include the background of the study, objectives, methodology, main results, conclusion, and perspectives.
- Author and co-authors: First and last names in Times New Roman, size 11, The name of the presenting or corresponding author must be underlined and bold.
- Affiliations: Authors should indicate their affiliations in the following order: Research laboratory, university or institution. (Times New Roman, size 10, italic).
- Seminar languages: Arabic, English, and French.
- The abstract file must be saved in Word format and named as follows: LastName_FirstName_Abstract_BVRB.doc
- The abstract and the registration form must be sent in a single email to the following address : bvrb@univ-boumerdes.dz
Registration fees:
Academic / Researcher: 6000,00 DA.
Student (Master /Ph. D: 4 000,00 DA.
Industrial: 10 000,00 DA.
Registration fees include: Access to all scientific sessions, Conference materials, lunch & coffee breaks.
